Now, you might wonder: why am I even on this funky-looking website? What is this website even about?

Well, I, Miss Octla is currently an IB student that's trying to get as much things possible in her portfolio to get internships for CAS activites.

What is CAS?

CAS stands for Creativity, Activity and Service. It's a way that the IB program have implemented to make students learn not only through academics but also experience.

So, I'm hoping to be able to share this website with other IB students like me and share our CAS journey together.

My Inspiration

The inspiration behind this website came from 'Miss-Know-It-All' from the Dork Diaries series. 'Miss-Know-It-All' is a website made by Nikki Maxwell a fictional character in the series. She dedicated this website to give advice, share her thoughts and helps others through her own experiences.

So one day I thought, why not make a website like that for IB students?

While one of the reasons I made this was for CAS, let me be real for a second—this isn't one of those super serious academic sites. I know the feeling of being burnt out from school, deadlines, and never-ending assignments. This space is meant to be a fun, creative outlet—a place to laugh, share ideas, and connect with others who are also trying to survive the IB rollercoaster. Yes, there will be CAS content, but you'll also find bits of my personality, humor, and maybe even some randomness. So relax, scroll around, and enjoy the chaos that is in Octla’s World!
